Col Legno Bassoon and Percussion Duo, Ensemble Shared Showcase Concert
The Col Legno Duo takes its name from the Italian musical term meaning “with the wood.” Amy Pollard (bassoon) and Scott Pollard (marimba/percussion) have performed and presented clinics together to both national and international acclaim. With an eye towards expanding the repertoire of this unique instrumental combination, Col Legno has arranged numerous works and recently hosted an international composition contest that featured over 100 submissions from 20 different countries.
