3/24/2016 4000 Miles by Amy Herzog
March 11th - April 2nd Thursdays - Saturdays at 8:00 p.m. and Sundays at 5:00 p.m. Different Stages continues its 2015 - 2016 season with Amy Herzog’s 4000 Miles. After suffering a major loss while on a cross–country bike trip, 21-year-old Leo seeks solace from his feisty 91-year-old grandmother Vera in her West Village apartment. Over the course of a single month, these unlikely roommates infuriate, bewilder, and ultimately reach each other in a touching play that explores how two outsiders find their way in today's world. Directed by Karen Jambon (Charley’s Aunt). 4000 Miles features Jennifer Underwood (Terminus) as Vera Joseph, a character based on Amy Herzog’ grandmother. Leo is played by Will Douglas (Dracula). Andrea Flowers (Shakespeare Dallas) plays Bec. And Christine Hoang (Lewd Asian Women) is both Amanda and Lily. Performances are Thursdays through Saturdays at 8:00 p.m. and Sundays at 5:00 p.m. There is no performance on Easter Sunday, March 27. Tickets are: $15 Thursday, and pick your price $20, $25 or $30 on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
